We have three therapist available, so you may be able to have three of your guests having services at the same time.

Sabrina just booked her flight from SFO for $300 round trip, Wed thru Wed... Sweet!!!

By the way everyone, if you paid more than that - call ALA, they will reimburse the difference between the new price and what you paid... Yay for ALA :-)

BOOK YOUR ROOMS!!

Oh my goodness we are getting excited! A few updates:

* Rooms need to be booked by Feb 28th - Call the resort (US number) if you haven't already!

* Don't forget to include 20% off the room when budgeting your trip

* 3 meals a day are included (with the exception of the condo's)

* We have several friends looking for room mates - please contact me if you are interested

* Great news! Carrera just got her passport delivered in three weeks, from start to finish... So you still have plenty of time to get one, but get your booty in gear!

* You are more than welcome to bring beverages to keep in your room. Beer/wine $4 at the bar, $6 for mixed drinks... Totally reasonable! And the hotel is totally cool with in-room coolers.

Thanks for sharing our special day with us, we very much look forward to lots of celebrating with you!

Flight Updates

We just found out that our flight time has changed on the way down to Baja (Wed the 15th)... We now take off from SFO at 8:15am, landing in Baja at 12:25pm. Bloody Mary's at the airport for sure! We need to be there at 6:30, latest.
The return flight has only changed by 5 min, leaving Baja at 5:10pm - arriving in SFO at 10pm.
I'm so excited I can barely stand it!
Tip: Once you book your flight, sign up for auto updates - Alaskan will email you with any changes that occur to your trip :-)

Our Travel Plans

Marko and I are flying down to SJD (straight flight from SFO, Alaskan Flight #224 at 9:30am if you'd like to fly with us :-) Wed. April 15 and coming home on Wed April 22nd (#253 at 5:05pm)... We just bought them and they were about $550/person round trip, so don't mess around - book it now!
Just ask Joh, Carrera and Johny Marrs how excited they are to already be booked on our party flight...
Invites are going out this week - please feel free to call or write with any questions, we want each and every one of you there to celebrate with us :-)

Info on resort, etc

Here are the hotels darlings! We are staying at Palmas de Cortez (click here for room rates - make sure you book under the Olson/Karakasevic wedding for 20% discount), but both hotels are great. At Palmas all the rooms are great - we prefer ocean view. It can be kinda noisy in the pool view rooms, the quietest rooms are the garden view. If you are traveling in a group or meeting up with some of your favorite people, I suggest getting a condo... They have two bedrooms (with flat screen TV's! - the rest of the rooms are m-e-l-l-o-w: no clocks or radios), a full kitchen and a nice view... Marko and I will be in one of these, and they are all grouped together - ocean view.
If I had a guess, and you are wondering which hotel to book, the party people will be at Palmas and the lucky mommies and daddies and those not wanting to party late night will stay at Playa del Sol (click here for room rates - make sure you book under the Olson/Karakasevic wedding for 20% discount)... I haven't personally checked out Playa del Sol, but next time Marko and I go down (November maybe?) I will advise on the best rooms :-) The hotels are only a block away, so it will be super easy to go back and forth.

Marko and I will be staying for a week or so, you are more than welcome to join us! This is not a one night party!

Activities:
There are all sorts of fun things to do through the resort (linked above)... Snorkeling, 4-wheeling, etc. We like to rent Rhino 4-wheelers and take them (unguided) up to the waterfall... and DEEP SEA FISHING!!!

There is a spa at Palmas that services both hotels for all us
ladies :-)

Fly into SJD Airport (you WILL need your passport), and schedule a shuttle with the hotel. The shuttle costs the same no matter how many people you put in it, so it's cost effective to share with as many people will fit. You can certainly rent a car, but insurance (a must) is extremely expensive and you won't have many places to drive once you get there... If you are in road trip mode, by all means - hook it up!
